2 Thessalonians 1:

5 "Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of
the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

  6 Seeing
                           it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with
                           his mighty angels,

8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them
that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

  9
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory
                           of his power;

10 When he shall come to be glorified in
his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day."

Mt.25:41,46

41 "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed,
into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:"

46 "And these shall go away
into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

 Revelation
                           20:15

15 "And whosoever was not found written
in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

 Luke 12:

2 "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in
darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not
afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast
into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him."

YOU ARE ONE OF HIS. SPEAK THE TRUTH!

We promise God that  that by His grace we would warn the wicked of judgment with all of our might
and power, and keep our hands clean of the blood of our fellow men. The reason then for preaching on the subject of hell and
the Lake of Fire may be given under four heads:

1. It is the clear revelation of Scripture.
2. It is commanded that we warn men against it.
3. The modern pulpit is almost completely silent on the subject and that necessitates someone raising his voice about this
                           matter.
4. Hell is a moral necessity in a moral universe.

 Ezekiel
3: (A good scripture for the church in acting one to another)

  17
"Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them
                           warning from me.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt
surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same
wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand."

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image,
and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured
out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever
and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark
                           of his name" (Revelation 14:9-11).

Luke
                           16:

19 "There was a certain rich man,
which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table:
moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

  22 And
it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and
                           was buried;

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being
in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

  24
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water,
and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

  25 But
Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now
he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

  26 And
beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither
can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

  27 Then
he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come
                           into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses
and the prophets; let them hear them.

  30 And
he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though
                           one rose from the dead."

 Mark
                           9:

43 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut
it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall
                           be quenched:

  44 Where their worm
dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

  45 And
if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell,
into the fire that never shall be quenched:

  46 Where
their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

  47 And
if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two
eyes to be cast into hell fire:

48 Where their worm dieth not, and the
                           fire is not quenched."

 Revelation
                           20:

10 "And the devil that deceived them
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night
                           for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and
him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:
and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in
the books, according to their works.

  13 And
the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged
every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake
                           of fire."

 Daniel
                           12:

2"And many of them that sleep in the
dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt"

At the end of the great tribulation, Jesus Christ will divide the Gentile tribulation
survivors into two groups. Then He will say, "And these shall go away into everlasting (aionios) punishment: but the
righteous into life eternal (aionios)." Here, the English words "everlasting" and "eternal" are each
translated from the same Greek word "aionios". Over and over, the word "aionios" is also used to describe
the punishment of the lost. For example, Matthew 25:41 says, "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart
from me, ye cursed, into everlasting (aionios) fire, prepared for the devil and his angels ...." Some other examples
are Matthew 18:8, Mark 3:29, 2 Thessalonians 1:9, Hebrews 6:2, and Jude 1:7. Also, the word "aionios" is used over
and over to describe the life of those who receive salvation. For example, Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is
death; but the gift of God is eternal (aionios) life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Some other examples are John 6:47,
Acts 13:48, Romans 5:21, 1 Timothy 1:16, Titus 3:7, 1 John 5:11, and Jude 21. Therefore, those who argue that the punishment
in the lake of fire for the wicked will one day end, must also argue that the life of those who are saved will one day end.

The word "aionios" is used 71 times in the Bible, and every time it is used, it is describing something
that is eternal. The word "aionios" is also used to describe the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 9:14), salvation (Hebrews
5:9), redemption (Hebrews 9:12), the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:11), the honor and power of our Lord Jesus
Christ (1 Timothy 6:16), God's glory (1 Peter 5:10), and our immortal bodies that we will one day receive (2 Corinthians
5:1). Those who argue that the punishment in the lake of fire for the wicked will one day end, must also argue that all of
                           these will one day expire.

The problem is that despite all that the
scriptures say, SOME think it would not be fair for God to sentence the wicked to eternal torment. THEY ARE DUPES OF THE DEVIL.
THERE IS NO WISDOM. AND THEY TEACH THIS WAY!

 Yet God says
in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens
are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

There is a place of eternal punishment for the lost.

Hades (Greek) - It is identical to Sheol (Hebrew).
It is the non-permanent place or temporary address of the disembodied souls of dead. It is not the grave or sepulcher, nor
is it the eternal location of the souls of the dead. Hades is translated "Hell" 10 times and "grave" once
by KJV. It is the place for the soul, not the body.

Gehenna
(Greek, but originally from a Hebrew name) - translated "Hell" all 12 times in KJV It is the permanent place for
destruction of the "... soul and body ..." (Matthew 10:28). It is a place of "... fire that never shall be
quenched" (Mark 9:45). In most of the references, it is clear from the context that those who enter Gehenna, do so in
their bodies, not merely as bodiless souls. For this to happen, it must occur after the resurrection of the damned at the
great white throne of judgment. Therefore, Gehenna is the Lake of Fire described in Revelation 19 and 20. It is presently
uninhabited, but the Beast and the False Prophet will be cast into it at the end of the tribulation (Revelation 19:20). One
thousand years later, Satan will be cast into it (Rev 20:10) and will be followed shortly by the lost people of all previous
time periods (Revelation 20:15). They will all enter Gehenna together, in there resurrected bodies, where they will remain
                           in torment for all eternity.

ONE LAST POINT
GOD'S
JUSTICE AND HIS MERCY FULFILLED THROUGH CHRIST: THE TRUE GOSPEL OF GRACE

God's mercy would have all saved. God's justice cannot. There is no second
chances nor time of reconsideration and maturation as some new age writers like Rob Bell assert. This is old hat, and a
heresy of one who is not saved. It is a apostate teaching.
These people do not deserve to be uttered in the same
breath as Jesus. But you have learned from the likes of them.

       Christianity is Jesus Christ. Either
one believes that sin is punishable by death eventually, physically as proof of sin, and spiritually as the consequence
of not believing this truth and thus not believing of the Lord Jesus, OR they do believe and understand God's mercy
                           and His justice.

THE MINISTRY I HAVE STARTS HERE WITH YOU

       "Son of man,
I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. When I
say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked
way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet if you have
warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you
                           have delivered yourself" (Ezek. 3:17-19).

Charles Spurgeon paraphrased Ezekiel's words this
way: "If sinners be dammed, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with
our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and not prayed for."

       THE ARCHITECT
OF UNIVERSALISM: SIN IS NOT REALLY SIN THAT GOD COMMANDS IS SIN, PUNISHABLE BY DEATH.

       It is sobering
to remember that the first doctrine to be denied in Scripture is judgment. The Bible records Satan saying to Eve, "You
surely will not die!" (Genesis 3:4). Unfortunately, many Universalist heretics feel the same way and deny that an eternal
separation from God is a reality for anyone who refuses Christ as their savior. But simply put, those who reject Jesus Christ
in this life will have their request honored also in the next.

       The doctrine of ultimate reconciliation
or universalism may be appealing to human sensibilities, but it is simply wrong and not biblical. Scripture teaches that
beyond this life, there are no second chances. Instead, the Bible declares, "Today is the day of salvation" (2
Corinthians 6:2). Love does indeed win for those who turn by faith to Christ in this life and embrace Him as Savior. Those
who don't and dismiss the concept of hell will find out eternity is an awfully long time to be wrong. As writer Os Guinness
puts it, "For some, hell is simply a truth realized too late."

FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD
                           JESUS

       • "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that
leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads
to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:13--14)

       • "Many will say to Me
on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform
many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'"
                           (Matthew 7:22--23)

       • "And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You
will descend to Hades; for if the miracles had occurred in Sodom which occurred in you, it would have remained to this day"
                           (Matthew 11:23)

       • "So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall
it be at the end of the age. "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all
stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness" (Matthew 13:40--41)

       • "So it
will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, and will throw
them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 13:49--50)

       • "Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot,  and throw him into the outer darkness;
in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth'" (Matthew 22:13)

       • "Woe
to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel around on sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes
one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves" (Matthew 23:15)

       • "You
serpents, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?" (Matthew 23:33)

       •
"Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been
prepared for the devil and his angels;" (Matthew 25:41)

       • "These will go away into
eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life" (Matthew 25:46)

       • "If your
hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life crippled, than, having your two hands, to go into
hell, into the unquenchable fire" (Mark 9:43)
       • "But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One
who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!" (Luke 12:5)

       • "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but
the wrath of God abides on him" (John 3:36)

       • "Do not marvel at this; for an hour
is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a
resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment." (John 5:28-29)

       • "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not
be hurt by the second death'" (Revelation 2:11)

Notice that Revelation 2:11 has Jesus speaking
of a "second death", which is important to remember. This term is used three other times in the book of Revelation
to speak of the fate of those who are unbelievers:

       • "Blessed and holy is the one who
has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ
and will reign with Him for a thousand years" (Revelation 20:6)

       • "Then death and
Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:14)

       • "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers
and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death"
                           (Revelation 21:8).

The soul that sins shall die (without Christ).

In mercy God provides His Son to take full judgment on Him for those who BELIEVE, and we are pardoned from
what is God's justice. No other way Satan has dreamed up can destroy this truth. Righteous justice is executed on The
Son of God so that God's mercy can be bestowed on a sinner saved by grace through faith in Christ.

THERE IS NO TRUE MERCY WITHOUT FULL JUSTICE SATISFIED.
"It is appointed for men to die once and after
                           this comes judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).

On an American troop ship, the soldiers crowded around
their chaplain asking, "Do you believe in hell?" "I do not," replied the chaplain. "Well, then,
will you please resign, for if there is no hell, we do not need you, and if there is a hell, we do not wish to be led astray."
