THE GREATNESS OF LOVE

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (JOHN 3:16).

"Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. He that doesn't love knows not God; for God is love"(1Jn.4:7-8).

"...Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood..."(Rev.1:5).

Jesus keeps us in grace, we do not. We are not sinless, He is.

He knows and has sealed us,2 Tim.2:19(a seal signifies a finished transaction, ownership, and security).

It is His blood, not ours, that our Father has accepted for all our sins. It is His blood that keeps us in fellowship provided we confess our sins daily.

It was His body that was given for us that was the sacrifice God accepted and not what we might mistakingly think is our goodness, rightness or nobility.

While it is true the indwelling Holy Spirit will comfort, teach, and empower us for real service, it remains that we still sin by virtue of our fallen nature.

But God is gracious to forgive us our sins as we confess them through Jesus Christ and our fellowship with Him continues. Without this we lose connection and bind The Holy Spirit.(1John 1:5-10)

Notwithstanding, salvation is never lost. (John 10:27-30)

HE GUARANTEES OUR ETERNAL LIFE NOW AND FOREVER!
Saved by grace (Eph.2:,8).
"For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves,it is the gift of God"

In Christ we are forgiven of all our sins and washed in His blood (Eph.1:7; Heb.9:14; Col.1:14).

We are a new creation (2Cor.5:17).
"Therefore, if any man be in Christ he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

We are redeemed from the curse of the law (Gal.3:13).

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangs from a tree."

We are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1Cor.6:19).

Blessed (Gal.3:9).
A saint (Rom.1:7;1 Cor.1:2; Phil.1:2).
Holy and without blame (Eph.1:4).
One of God's elect (Col.3:12; Rom.8:33).
Established to the end (1Cor.1:8).

Strong in the Lord (Eph.6:10).
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might".
Dead to sin (Rom.6:2,11).
More than a conqueror (Rom.8:37).
Joint heirs with Christ (Rom.8:17).
Sealed for life with the Holy Spirit (Eph.1:13).
In Christ by His doing (1Cor.1:30).
Accepted in the beloved (Eph.1:6).
Complete in Him (Col.2:10).
Crucified, buried, risen and alive with Christ (Gal.2:20; Eph2:5).
Reconciled to God and free from condemnation (2Cor.5:18; Rom.8:1).
A fellow citizen with the saints and of the household of God and qualified to share in His inheritance (Eph.2:19; Col.1:12).
"Now, therefore, you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;..."Eph. 2:19.
Overtaken with blessings and God's workmanship, created in Jesus Christ for good works(Eph.1:3; 2:10).
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them."
We are the righteousness of God, His chosen, and His ambassador (2Cor.5:21; 1Thess.1:4; 2Cor. 5:20).
We are being changed into His image (2Cor. 3:18).
Raised up and being seated in heavenly places with Christ (Col.2:12).
Beloved of God and delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of his dear Son (Col.1:12-14).
Access by one Spirit to the Father (Heb.4:16; Eph.2:18).
"Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace in time of need"

We ARE sinners delivered from it's penalty which is eternal separation from God. That is the second death scripture speaks of.
Once saved nothing can change that.
Our eternal gift of everlasting life comes to us by the completed work of Christ.
We cannot fall from grace because He cannot.
We will sin because we are sinners
He is the author and finisher of our faith.
And He will never leave us.
He cannot fail.
Thus we cannot fall from grace.
WHAT A SAVIOR WE HAVE IN JESUS!
WHAT A FATHER WE HAVE IN GOD!
