At the conclusion of his life before his execution St.
Paul makes this abundantly clear:
2 Tim. 4:6-8 6" For I am now ready to be offered,
and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."
THE FAITHFUL KNOW THE LORD KEEPS HIS WORD
"Leave her alone," said Jesus. "Why are you bothering
her? She has done a beautiful thing to me" (Mark 14:6).
Mary believed Jesus that He was soon to go to His death.
She anointed Him with precious oil. Judas reacted badly. She, by faith, knew what Jesus was saying was going to happen. Her
love for Him moved her to do this faithful act.
We can do what we can in obedience to our Lord. HE SAID
HE IS COMING TO TAKE US OUT AND KEEP US FROM "THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION" that will come upon all the world. Rev.3:10
He said to hold fast to this sure hope so that we do NOT
lose our Crown to the devils guile through those who deny this unconditional promise of The Lord. Rev.3:11
And through Saint Paul, our Lord said we are to look for
this blessed hope and His glorious appearing DAILY. Titus 2:13
