WHO HOLDS THE POWER
OF DEATH OVER SINNERS? Hebrews 2: 14
"Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same,
that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death -- that is, the devil - 15and
deliver those who all their lifetime were subject to bondage through fear of death."
2 Timothy 1:7 "For the Spirit God gave us
does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 8 So do not be ashamed
of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,
9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but
because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10
but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life
and immortality to light through the gospel."
WHO IS SIN AGAINST?
Proverbs 20:9 "Who
can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"?
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God;"
Psalm
51:4 "Against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight. You will be proved right in
what you say, and your judgment against me is just".
THE CONSEQUENCE OF REJECTING JESUS CHRIST Romans 6:23" For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift
of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Matthew 25:46 "And these
shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."
THE LORD SPEAKS
THE TRUTH (A TRUTH WE MUST WARN THE LOST OF)
Matt.25:41
"Then shall he say also unto them on the
left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels"
Mark 9:44: "Where the worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched."
Mark 9:47-48 "And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better
for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm
dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." Daniel 12:2 "Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake:
some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt." ALL THE LOST OF ALL TIME ARE CAST INTO THE LAKE
OF FIRE FOREVER
Revelation 19:20 "But the beast was captured,
and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those
who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of
burning sulfur."
Rev.20:10:
"
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are,
and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (The "beast" and "false prophet" are humans who taste the state of everlasting
death)
Revelation 21:8 "But the cowardly, the unbelieving,
the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place
will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
Revelation 20:14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the
second death.
THE LORD JESUS CAME TO DELIVER ALL
WHO BELIEVE ON HIM FROM DEATH A
living death in Hell, and the Lake of Fire are the consequence and primary reasons why God sent Jesus Christ
to pay the penalty for our sins. Being “extinguished” after death is no fate to dread, but an eternity in
hell in the Lake of Fire most definitely is. Jesus’ death was an infinite death, paying our infinite sin debt
so that we would not have to pay it in hell for eternity (2 Corinthians 5:21). When we place our faith in Him, we are saved, forgiven, cleansed,
and promised an eternal home in heaven. But if we reject God’s gift of eternal life, we will face the eternal consequences
of that decision.
2 Corinthians 5: 11, 17-21
11"Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
17Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18And
all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses
unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20Now then we are ambassadors
for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21For
he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
Isaiah 25:8 " he will swallow up death forever.The Sovereign
Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people
from all the earth. The Lord has spoken. "
Romans
5:
1"Therefore, being
justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice
in hope of the glory of God.
8 But God commendeth His love toward us in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
12 Therefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, so death passed onto all
men, for all have sinned.
21 that, as sin hath reigned unto death, even
so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."

WARN THE LOST. BUT FIRST GIVE THEM THE "GOOD NEWS". JESUS
SAVES FROM EVERLASTING DEATH AND THAT, THROUGH HIM ...WE WILL BE CALLED UP TO GLORY FOREVER, WHETHER WE
BE SLEEPING IN THE GRAVE OR SCATTERED ASHES, NO MATTER OUR RESTING PLACE IF WE PASS, OR WHETHER WE BE ALIVE WHEN HE CALLS:
OH DEATH! WHERE IS YOUR STING! GRAVE! WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY
1 Corinthians 15: 51"Behold, I shew you a mystery;
We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of
an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So
when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought
to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55O death, where is
thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58Therefore,
my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your
labour is not in vain in the Lord."
