The bag ladies were my girl-friends and the men and boys on the street my companions. There were so many on the road
in America, poor and needy, drunks, dope addicts, just plain nice people who were down and out because of job failure or
divorce or mental illness. I loved them in the Lord. They were trying to survive in America. Hardly anyone offered them a
break, a hot shower, or a hand. I fed 80 people a day from dumpster food I retrieved behind fancy food markets. I ate it too.
I'd deliver flowers to the bag ladies while they pushed their metal shopping carts down the cold streets of a world that
had written them off. Sometimes I'd lay it on them on the concrete sidewalks where they lay which was their hard and cold
bed. They had little or no money, they had no value in this land I walked. Once a sister in the Lord who slept in an ally off
Santa Monica Blvd asked me why the President was letting all those "Liberty" ships just rust in San Diego harbor when
they could be used to house the homeless? It was heartbreaking how abandoned they were and I was there with them with Jesus
in my heart and on my lips. Thank you Father. Whatever happened to "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all human
beings are created equal and endowed by God with certain inalienable rights. That among these are LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT
OF HAPPINESS..."
HE IS THE WAY
"...the Lord deal kindly with you, as you have dealt with the dead, and with me" (Ruth
1:8; Jn.5:24).
All of us who believe on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior have come back from the dead. We have died to the sin caused
death and been raised with him into a new life by The Holy Spirit. From the graveyard of the world we entered into His glorious
life and we know it as we know the palms of our hands because God sets His sights on our new life and lets us know!
So then what comes from the dead must return to let it be known that in The Son of God is the way, the truth and
the life. This is the vital message we are to lovingly provide to the world around us by word, deed, and example. We will
be strangers in an eerily strange land. We are responsible, through Adam, for death and now we are called to be responsible
for the gospel of good news that in Christ there is remission of our sins and a sure hope of eternal life through His completed
work on our behalf. .
The great Apostle Paul said God forbid I should know anything but Christ crucified (for our sins) and risen (for our
justification). Paul walked away from a great and high place in Judaism for Jesus Christ to plant spiritual seed along the
dusty roads of the inhabited world. Eventually he died for the truth of the gospel.
Have you mingled with the dead? And have you treated them well my friends?
Fear God And Give Glory to Him...(Rev.14:6-7; Gen. 12:3).
At this time in biblical history God provides the gospel message to all upon the earth by an angel who announces
it in mid-heaven. It is the "Everlasting Gospel" which tells of divine judgement, in the tribulation period, upon the wicked.
It is universally received but not believed. Even an angel cannot convince the wicked to give glory to God and accept, by
faith, Jesus Christ, His glorified Son and Savior of the world.
